U.K: Palestinian Flag Could Be Deemed As An Offence



UK’s home secretary, Suella Braverman has called on police officers to be on high alert, claiming the Palestinian flag to be “offensive” after pro-Palestinian protests have been erupting in the United Kingdom.

Suella Braverman expressed concerns about the pro Palestinian chants and slogans that call for the freedom of the Palestinian people. 

In a letter to the chief constables in both England and Wales she has encouraged police to crack down on demonstrators.

Anyone waving the Palestinian flag or chanting Arab slogans that offend the Israeli community would be “held to account” by British authorities.

The actions taken have come after the most recent events Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
