Saudi Set To Send Aid To Earthquake-Hit Afghanistan



Saudi Arabia sends aid to Afghanistan after an earthquake strikes the country. More than 15,000 food packages costing a total of $2 million are being donated by the Saudi humanitarian organization KSrelief for distribution by its local partner, the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

The earthquake, the second significant tremor to hit Afghanistan in less than a year, has prompted the center and other foreign humanitarian organizations to provide assistance to survivors.

The country was hit with another 6.3 magnitude earthquake just days after the first one in the same area on Wednesday morning in Chahak village in the province of Herat.
